孟加拉国商港。位于该国东南部卡纳富利河下游，港市之西南，西距孟加拉湾约15公里。卡纳富利河因有上游水库调节，水位稳定，但航道多浅滩，只允许吃水9 米以下的船只进港，港内有潮汐，大潮高潮4米，低潮0.5米，下潮高潮2.9米，低潮1.2米。港区右岸伸展有17个栈桥泊位，包括两个趸船泊位。码头长 130-190米等，前沿水深6.5-9.0米，其中有13座用于杂货装卸，4座用于装卸谷物和水泥、砖头等建筑材料。由于港口货物进出的增长，在其下游北岸建有多用途泊位两个。另外江面还设有7个油轮浮筒，4个干货浮筒和2个驳船浮筒。外锚地还有6万载重吨的原油泊位。
