阿拉伯联合酋长国最大商港。位于迪拜西南约35海里的阿里山自由贸易区海岸，自由贸易区始建于80年代初，包括商港在内占地7500英亩(约30平方公里)，有150多家工业企业，其中有50家是纺织、服装行业，产品90%供出口，还有仓库储存、通讯、金融、保险，不动产，建筑等一应俱全。港口主要为自由贸易区服务，也为海湾中转服务。港池深入内陆，有内港池和外港池，均东西平行排列伸向东北，西端连接西港池，向北伸向海洋。入港航道水深15米，两侧有防波堤保护。港内水深7.5-14.0米，总计有67个泊位，岸线长约15公里，其中有集装箱泊位17个，还有杂货、散货、石油等码头。各有仓库7万平方米，冷库4.2万平方米。港口货物吞吐已逾千万吨，集装箱吞吐30万吨标准箱，75%中转。它也是海湾地区规模最大的商港和中心之一，也是进出最大的人工港。1991年5月起，该港与拉希德港合并成立迪拜港务局，仍为两大钢港区。合并后的迪拜港集装箱超过百万标准箱。成为世界20大集装箱吞吐港之一。
