xiamen (China)toHONGKONG (HONG KONG) LCL (Less than Container Load) is the economic choice for small and mid-volume export shipments, carried by EHS, with an average transit time of about 38H days, service type: JGC. LCL is billed per CBM and weight, with a 1 RT minimum, ideal for 1-15 CBM shipments.
Compared to FCL (Full Container Load), LCL has no minimum container volume requirement, charges by actual volume / weight, and has a low entry threshold. The downsides: more handling steps (CFS receiving → consolidation → de-vanning → distribution), slightly longer transit, and higher packaging requirements. Best suited for e-commerce parcels, samples, and small trade shipments. Billed under the W/M rule: 1 RT = max(1 CBM, weight conversion). See the W/M ratio above.

香港是世界三大天然良港之一，港内港阔水深，风平浪静，不淤不冻，通道众多。世界各地竞相利用这个条件优越、位置适中的良港，使其成为世界著名的自由港和“知风岛”成为重要的航运中心之一。主要港区“维多利亚”港口，位于维多利亚海峡近岸，总面积约60平方公里，平均水深12米，港内有三个海湾和两个避风堤能微风避浪。有三个主要出入水道，是进入香港的门户。港区水域辽阔，可以同时靠泊50艘巨轮，万吨级远洋轮船可以全天候进出港口。在港内仅供远洋轮船停靠的泊位有72个，其中43个可供长达183米的巨轮停泊。2003年港口吞吐量2.076亿吨,为世界大港之一。集装箱运输发展迅速，2003年吞吐量2045万吨，2004年吞吐量2193万吨，均名列世界第一。目前有6个集装箱码头，70多个巨轮泊位，另外还有90公顷的集装箱卸区。整个港区各种运输设备，助航设施和港口通信设备齐全先进，进出港的轮船停泊时间只需十几个小时，效率之高为世界各大港口之冠。
