苏丹的首都。喀士穆市由三个隔河相望的姊妹城市组成:喀士穆本市、乌姆杜尔曼(恩图曼)和北喀士穆，青、白尼罗河上的两座大桥把三个城镇连结在一起，呈“品”字形状，同我国武汉三镇颇相类似。
苏丹是非洲面积最大的国家，也是世界上最热的国家之一。其首都喀土穆意为“大象鼻子”。青、白尼罗河在喀土穆交汇向北流去，颇似大象鼻子，喀土穆也因此而得名。其地形与武汉很相像，也由三镇组成，即：喀土穆、北喀土穆和恩图曼，三镇之间有桥相连。
