位于土耳其（全称：土耳其共和国 THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY）南部沿海的卡拉（KARA）河口南岸，濒临菲尼克湾的西北侧，是土耳其南部的矿石出口港。港口距安塔利亚（ANTALYA）机场约280km。 该港属亚热带地中海式气候，年平均气温10～25℃。全年平均降雨量约750mm。平均潮高：高潮为0.4m，低潮为0.15m。 港区主要有一个突堤码头，岸线长80m，水深5.5m，仅供3000吨以下船舶装卸。装卸效率每天约300～500吨。大锚地水深达53m，有驳船协助靠泊及装卸，每天约200吨。出口货物以铬、锰及矿砂等为主。
